Coming from a family where art is a daily breath, Isabelle Carbuccia grew up in a vibrant universe of creativity, between painting, sewing, music and literature. Very early on, her vocation became obvious. Initially attracted to the world of ready-to-wear, she launched two brands with unique pieces, which she painted and sewed herself. But her first love, painting, eventually won out, and she chose to follow this passion that has never left her.
With a singular audacity, Isabelle freed herself from the family workshops to refine her own style, developing a personal touch that seduced from the start. Under the pseudonym of “Barbara”, she captured the attention of an audience sensitive to her unique universe and her works of rare intensity. Today, free from any academicism, she offers bold creations that mix bright colors with rich textures, combining paint, pastel, fabrics and even precious stones. Her works, powerful and full of life, delve into varied themes: profound female portraits, extravagant and elegant ceramics, mysterious abstractions or exotic palm forests. Each piece tells a story and pushes aesthetic and technical boundaries, the fruit of self-taught learning and hard work. Discovering Isabelle Carbuccia's works is to open yourself up to a sensory journey where each detail reveals the passion and audacity of an inspired artist.
These unique creations, full of emotion and character, are just waiting to find a place in the homes of those who know how to recognize beauty in the unexpected.
